It seems like there are new tequila brands emerging every week. How many share an authentic story behind the brand? I was raised in the land of tequila. I have a keen understanding of the tequila culture and a deep appreciation of Agave which in my opinion is what makes tequila such a unique spirit. Ten years ago I created one of the first modern silver tequilas that celebrates the unique flavor of agave that does not need to hide behind wood. The flavor of cooked agave is my guiding star to create great tequilas. Tequila Proximus is smooth not just for the sake of being smooth, we carefully distilled Proximus to eliminate the harsh alcohols that actually close the taste buds. By keeping the palate open people can taste the subtleties of agave and its natural sweetness.
